Best Race Performance: Personal best at the Victoria Self-Transcendence Triathalon 2005. I beat my last race by about 45 min.

Other Hobbies: Kind of artistic, I like to do bead work and tile mirrors.

Interesting Facts: I've always been very athletic all my life. I played a multitude of sports which include basketball, volleyball, softball and gymnastics. However, when I was 16, my athletic life came to a halt after tearing my ACL. I stopped playing the sports that I loved, fearing that I would continuously injure myself. After many years of being a couch potato, gaining at least 60 and telling myself I can't be an “athlete”, I discovered triathlons thanks to my husband, Marty. Now, I have lost 40 pounds and am on my way to being the healtiest I've been in a very long time.
