Family: One son Jeff, age 32 living in Regina, Sask. Is getting married this year and I will be an instant grandmother. One daughter, Kara, age 26 living in Brandon, Manitoba and completing her Social work degree. My two granddogs are Indiana and Piper in Brandon.
Favorite Race: Oceanside California 70.3 and Gulf Coast Florida 1/2 iron. Great memories of both and won my age group at both. How could I not love them.
Best Race Performance: 5:52 for a 1/2 iron at Gulf Coast. Best marathon time is 3:32 in Seattle in 2001. Best Olympic distance time is 2:39
Other Hobbies: Painting with acrylics and pencil drawings
Occupation: Psychiatric nurse in a Psychiatric emergency department
Interesting Facts:I never ran or did anything remotely athletic until I was over the age of 40. I have now raced 2 Boston marathons, completed Olympic distance world championships in Honolulu in 2005 and Hawaii Ironman world championships in 2008.
