Favorite Race: My 1st 1/2 marathon in Detroit w/ my best friend Storrs, & my 1st triathlon: Outer Limits

Best Race Performance: Outer Limits: not sure about actual time performance, but placed 1st in my age & 3rd overall! Pretty cool for my 1st race.

Other Hobbies: Travel: I've been to 7 different countries and all over the US. I'm always up for a trip some place new. I want to see & do it all! / Spending time with friends (while traveling)/ Reading/ Boating on Lake Erie.

Occupation: Hairdresser of 9 years. I get to help people look & feel great about themselves. I was born to do it. I love it! Haircut anyone? I also do wig and makeup work for Opera Columbus & Broadway Across America.

Interesting Facts: My mom was a triathlete when I was young. I grew up watching her race and I participated w/ her in short 1 mile "fun" runs. I grew up swimming on swim teams and ran cross country in high school. Triathlon seemed like a natural progression. I'm always looking for the next challenge. I've recently started back to school & am training to become a National Educator for Paul Mitchell. Oh yeah, I don't like chocolate...and I'm a Virgo!
